Airospring is the result of many years of research by the University of Bolton and Baltex Technical Textiles. The University of Bolton is a leading institution in the development of technical and medical textiles.
Baltex, who provide the fabrics, is a leading producer of 3D Spacer fabrics and has been working closely with the University for the past 10 years.
Thanks to a wide range of equipment and knowhow Baltex won the Innovation Prize for Technical Textiles at the centenary World conference of the Textile Institute in Manchester in 2010.
